✦ Quick Start
Name your course and set its date range. Then describe it, and Quick Start builds the course description, outcomes, assignment types, and schedule, one step at a time.
Start from a syllabus or a course schedule you already have, whichever you've got. The more it includes, the more comes over: a full syllabus also brings outcomes and policies where it states them, while a bare schedule still gives you the weekly structure. Quick Start reads it, shows you exactly what it could and couldn’t carry over, then walks the same steps. You confirm every one.
No file chosen
Reading a syllabus usually takes 20 to 40 seconds. Word documents aren’t read directly yet. Save as PDF, or paste the text above.

Welcome to Coursetrix Pro
Coursetrix helps you design your course structure before building it in your LMS. Here's how it works:
1
Set Up Your Course
Enter your course name and date range. This gives Coursetrix the boundaries it needs to build your schedule.
2
Define Learning Outcomes
Add your Course-Level Learning Outcomes (CLLOs) and optionally your Program-Level Learning Outcomes (PLLOs) via the Manage PLLOs button. Align CLLOs to PLLOs to enable the coverage report.
3
Set Assignment Types
Customize the categories used for your assignments, such as Discussion, Quiz, or Project. A point summary by type is generated automatically as you build your schedule.
4
Build Your Schedule
Create modules and fill them with assignments. Set due dates, point values, and CLLO links. Drag and drop to reorder assignments.
5
Export Your Plan
Generate a PDF of the course schedule for your syllabus, download the coverage reports as CSV, or export a cartridge your LMS can import.
Planning a new semester?
Open last term's course, update your start and end dates, then hit Redistribute Dates to automatically re-space all your modules and assignments across the new date range.
Your work saves automatically to your account as you go. The header shows when changes are saved. Use ← My Courses to switch between courses. You can revisit this guide any time with the ? button.
Redistribute Dates
Module dates will be aligned to week boundaries (Monday, Sunday). This action cannot be undone.
Generate PDF Report
Opens your browser's print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination to download it.
About Coursetrix Pro
Version 0.5 (pre-release)
Coursetrix Pro helps you design a course before you build it in your LMS. Work through your outcomes, materials, assessment types and a week by week schedule, then take away a printable course schedule or a file your LMS can import.
It was built by an instructional designer who got tired of wrestling with Word tables. Course design deserves a better tool than a document with the borders turned off.
